From Curiosity to Craft
Founders Mark and Jo Bader’s journey into winemaking began with a shared curiosity that gradually grew into a deep commitment to the craft. What started as hands-on experimentation evolved into a belief that great wine is made through patience, attention to detail, and a genuine connection to place. That passion now guides everything they do at Spruce Hill Winery, from small-lot production to creating wines meant to be enjoyed, shared, and revisited.
Their journey became a reality with the opening of their SODO production facility and tasting room in 2023, followed by the opening of their Gig Harbor tasting room in 2026.
