Fall 2025 Harvest Update
Scott Williams and Javier Ponce Jr., Kiona – Heart of the Hill Vineyard, first planted in 2006, is the source of our 2025 Carmenère and 2025 Cabernet Sauvignon.
Our 2025 harvest is just around the corner! We recently checked in with some of the grape growers for our 2025 harvest: Todd Newhouse of Upland Vineyards (Flying M Vineyard, Yakima Valley), Scott Williams and Javier Ponce Jr. of Kiona (Heart of the Hill Vineyard, Red Mountain), and Patrick Rawn (Angiolina Vineyard & Konnowac Vineyard, Rattlesnake Hills).
Their decades of combined experience with Washington grape growing and winemaking are impressive! We’re always so thankful for the time they spend with a small, family-owned winery like ours, and appreciate their guidance in picking decisions and more. We also appreciate their dedication to sustainability. As of the 2025 vintage, all these vineyards are Sustainable WA certified.
The first grapes making their way into our SODO winery next week are Pinot Blanc (pictured to the left) and Albariño. We can’t wait to get started!
